Physical Description: Like most other shapeshifters, Alex can pass off as a human much more easily than other supernaturals. Other than slightly pointy nails, he didn't get anything particularly abnormal when he first showed signs of being a shapeshifter. Alex has black curly hair than can never sit still, but is impossible to turn into anything cool, like an afro. He just cuts it short and hopes for the best. His skin is a few shades darker than tanned at a light brown colour, and his eyes are a deep hazel. He has something of a baby face, his head a little too round for his liking. Though he is athletic, most people would look at him and just see a stick. He tends to wear a lot of jackets and loose fitting clothing to try and combat this.
Alexis is one of the bigger birds when in his shapeshifted form, being a peregrine falcon. He stands at around 45cm tall, with a wingspan of 90cm. His head, back and wings are a dark blue-black and his underside is white, flecked with more black and grey.

History: Alexis and his family were living in London up until just under a year ago. He lived a relaxing working class life for the majority of his time there, and his naive but charming demeanour gained him a lot of close friends. However, his parents got a business proposal they couldn't refuse, which forced them to bring their family to America. Alex was devastated that he had to leave his friends and home behind but reluctantly agreed for the benefit of his family.
He went to school there for a few months but didn't really get close to anyone in particular, feeling much more outcast and lonely than ever before. It was definitely a surprise when he turned into a falcon. He had been sitting on his roof but had tripped while trying to get up. He became overcome with an instinct to...change. He found himself hovering in the air, his body feeling strange and oddly proportioned. He felt more aware of everything. He felt a lot better than he had in a while.
He began to transform more and more, and soon enough could change as easily as breathing. A month or so later, he got a letter inviting him to the academy. He was wary of the same events repeating, but he found the idea of a new start inviting, and he genuinely wanted to go.
Anything Else: Fun fact, Alexis has never ridden a horse before attending the academy. He's hilariously bad at it.
