Electronic Communication: Rules and Guidelines

1. The normal post limit (at least 2 paragraphs) does not apply to this board. Do to the fact that many people just text a quick sentence or two, requiring two paragraphs per post may not make sense. You can still type that much, of course, but it is not a requirement.
2. Open threads are not permitted in this board; they must all be private.
3. Threads must still be actual roleplays; if you play a teacher, for example, you can't just make a single post in here and say that it was an email to all students.
4. You do not have to state the in-character month that the roleplay started in.
5. You do not have to state the medium of electronic communication if you don't want to, but make sure that all involved roleplayers know whether it's via text or email.
6. Do not describe the actions of a character, just write what they send over the electronic communication. (For example, type "Yeah, I'll be coming over to your dorm room at around 7, what time will you be there?", not "Jill whipped out her phone, and typed, 'Yeah, I'll be coming over to your dorm room at around 7, what time will you be there?'. She slipped her phone back into her backpack, hoping the teacher hadn't seen.").
