Important Things to Note About Staff Members
1. All staff members at Nascha Chee Academy are supernatural. Therefore, unless your character is over 90 years old (in which case they probably wouldn't be teaching; supernaturals have normal human lifespans), they're a former student of Nascha Chee Academy.
2. As an exception to rule 1, some staff members may be supernatural, but may not have lived in the United States or Canada as a teenager. Note, however, that most supernaturals in places other than the United States and Europe are not apart of any supernatural community, and would likely not have been trained in their abilities. If your character comes from Europe, note that almost all European supernaturals end up in France, which is home to a large supernatural population. Keep in mind that your character will have probably lived in France for many years, and will likely be able to speak French.
3. Teachers at Nascha Chee have to have gone to college. This means that teachers have to be at least 22 years old. Note that the last two years of Nascha Chee Academy count as college, and therefore, they would've only needed to go to human college for 2 years. They could have also remained at Nascha Chee as a security guard, and taken online college courses before becoming a teacher.
4. Teachers at Nascha Chee need to teach at least one subject, and they generally teach all levels of this subject for all grades. There are multiple teachers per subject; Nascha Chee does not have a single math teacher, or a single Supernatural History teacher.
5. Staff members at Nascha Chee should be aware of the conflict going on between the CSF, SINA, and NASGO, but are actively trying to hide it from the teachers. As students can choose a side in the fight through in-character actions, students may interact with staff members that are on the same side. A large amount of teachers are likely also either neutral, or support NASGO rather than the CSF or SINA. Keep this in mind.
6. Staff members can supervise clubs or sports teams. Around the time that students sign up for sports, a message will be sent to staff members dealing the process for supervising a sports team. For information about supervising a club, see the thread in the announcements board about the process for starting a club (not yet up).
7. Staff members live on campus. Like students, staff members can either leave during breaks to visit elsewhere, or remain on campus. Staff members are given food and other necessities for living, and paid a decent salary as well.
8. Staff members do not have to go back to Nascha Chee immediately after college; a teacher could easily teach in a normal human school for years before deciding to teach at Nascha Chee, and any other staff member can do whatever they wish for however long they want. There's no time limit on going to Nascha Chee.
9. Similarly, staff members can leave Nascha Chee, but only at the end of the school year, although there are exceptions for exceptional circumstances. The school is willing to put in a letter of recommendation for any former staff members when they apply for new jobs, omitting the details about the school's supernatural nature.
10. Due to the importance of horses at Nascha Chee, any staff members must have at least basic horse riding skills. For teachers that were raised in Canada or the United States and attended Nascha Chee Academy, this should not be a problem.
11. Staff at Nascha Chee are free to leave campus, and are permitted to escort students to Sikaya City or any location approved by the school, but must be back to teacher every day (with exceptions made for emergency situations like family emergencies).
