School

The dormitories are where students sleep, eat, and often spend much of their free time at Nascha Chee. This encompasses the entire dormitory buildings, both east and west, including the rooms as well as the hallways within.

The central, outside area of the school, between all of the buildings. The courtyard's centerpiece is a fountain featuring a dragon and a unicorn, surrounded by tables for students to eat and talk at. The courtyard also has large grassy areas, and a decent amount of trees and bushes, allowing for a number of quieter places. At night, it's lit up by a number of lights placed at certain intervals.

Nascha Chee's Central Hall serves mostly as a place for assemblies and important school functions. However, it is open throughout the day as a place for students to relax, study, or simply hang out. Although most students prefer to eat in their dorms, the Central Hall is another place where a student can get and eat food.

Located on the eastern part of the school, the academic buildings are home to dozens of classrooms. All classes take place in these two buildings, apart from physical education classes and some electives. Students often visit these classrooms even after class, to study, to visit teachers, or for club activities. Among some student groups, these classrooms are popular hang outs.

Nascha Chee's library is just like any other library- there are shelves and shelves of books, about a myriad of subjects, and a few librarians that allow students to check them out. Being one of the world's few supernatural establishments, the library is also filled with shelves of supernatural fiction and nonfiction alike. This library doesn't limit noise as strictly as many others, and as such, many students spend free time here. Computers are also available for the students to use, after reviewing a list of rules regarding school technology. Notably, no book in the library is younger than three years old, and most websites are blocked on the school computers.

The offices are where many of the school staff work, interacting with parents, offering counseling services, managing school records, and dealing with student discipline. Deeper within the building, staff lounges can be found. This building is also where many of the school staff live, and as such, shower rooms, kitchens, and other housing areas are located here.

Students get sick or hurt often, especially seeing as they live at the school. "The infirmary" is the common term for the school's medical center, which deals with everything from normal check-ups to medical emergencies.

A short walk away from the academic buildings is the student use building. This building is usually empty throughout the school day, but during breaks and after school, it's often full of students doing extracurricular activities. Most of of these rooms are used for clubs, but a fair number are also the base for sport teams as well.

School Athletic Areas

The gym is the main area for physical education, and is where most of these PE classes are located. After school, it is also open for students to play games in. The gym also has two smaller wings, known as the "West Gym" and "East Gym", which have smaller sports facilities.

Located behind the gym, Nascha Chee's swimming pool is sizable, and is around five feet deep in most parts. The deep end is out of the way, and difficult to accidentally end up in. The pool is used during both PE classes and for the swim team. In addition, on most days except during the winter, the pool is open for students to swim after class.

Located a short distance from the gym and the swimming pool, the track is a flat dirt path around a grassy field. The field has marking and equipment for playing soccer and other field games, while the track is mostly used for running. While it's technically open to students after class, more often than not, it's occupied by sport teams and mostly seen during PE classes.

The forest around the school, for the most part, is undeveloped. However, a small wall has been placed around a small section of the forest, creating the Arena. The foliage and wildlife within is constantly maintained, leaving the Arena safe for students. It is mostly used for supervised games of Capture the Flag and for "field trips", and is off-limit to students without staff supervision. That doesn't stop students from sneaking into the Arena, especially couples looking to get some time alone.

Nascha Chee's "Equestrian Area" includes the stables and the areas where the horses are housed and ridden. Horses are vital to the fabric of Nascha Chee, being the mount of choice for campus security and the most effective method of transportation to and from the school through the forest. Horse riding is a mandatory subject during PE, and classes are offered after the school day. Students are permitted to visit the horse paddocks and stables after class, whether to ride horses or simply visit them.

Although not as popular, many other sports have small areas of the campus set apart for them. This includes a few tennis courts, a small baseball diamond, and a few other courts or fields for sports that are more obscure. These are all open to students after the school day has ended.

Off-Campus

A large urban area southwest of Nascha Chee Academy, Sikaya City (pronounced Sye-kay-uh) is the closest city to the school. Students are not allowed off-campus without staff supervision, but it's not uncommon for groups of students to take a few horses and sneak out of the school to ride down to the city. Sikaya City is well-known among Nascha Chee's student body for its stores and restaurants, and school shopping trips are very common.
